My name is LeslieGeorge and I am an author.
My third book will be titled OMEM. Our Most Embarrassing Moments. It will
be based on stories submitted by you. At first, my idea was to have people
tell about their most embarrassing moments in life. But I later realized,
that just embarrassing moments would be too limited. So now I am looking
for funny, unusual, happy, embarrassing, ethereal, and possibly stupid
moments. I am looking for highly unusual events in peoples lives. And I
am looking for thousands of events like this. Your privacy will be maintained
and held in strict confidence, if you choose that. In other words folks,
if you have a great story to tell, it may get published. I know from my
own experiences, that almost everyone has had many events like the one,
that I have described. So here is your chance folks, to be heard, and maybe
published. Since no one seems to do something for the joy of doing it anymore,
I have come up with this contest, to push you over the edge, and get you
to write in. So if you want a thousand bucks, than get busy, and start
writing. By the way, if I was rich, I would have a second and third place,
but I am not. I write because I love to write. I like to tell stories.
And I know that there are millions of you out there, that like to tell
stories as well. So here are the ground rules.
Submissions will start on November
1, 2005 and end on November 1, 2006.
Emails must include Name, Address,
Phone Number, email address, story, dates, and all other pertinent information.
OMEM must be placed in subject line, due to email filters.
All stories must be true and
verifiable.
Stories must be clear, concise,
and typewritten.
Stories may be verified.
Have fun, enjoy, and make your
story a labor of love.
About three months after the
submission date, the winner will be notified, and will have to consent
to be videotaped for publicity.
On second thought, it will
be hard to judge whose life experience is the best, so I have decided to
offer a second and third prize, but I will choose what prizes they will
